Don't forget you are unique ⭐️
Hello Noodles!
When I was wondering if I could have ADHD in 2020, I remember binge-watching all the YouTube videos I could find of diagnosed people explaining what their lives look like. I wanted to see if my own experience could match theirs, I needed to see real-life examples of ADHD symptoms.
And often, I was confused by what I saw.
I saw many different people with many different lives and many different struggles. Of course, I could see the pattern of their ADHD symptoms shaping their experience, but they were all still unique individuals.
What confused me back then reassures me now. I love that the ADHD community can gather together around similar experiences (like the dreaded ADHD tax!) but that the individual ways of approaching our challenges are shaped by infinitely diverse personalities.
I see a community rich in diversity and individuality, I see beautiful, unique humans.
